Week 3

Well, school is now back in full swing. Homework is piling up and I even have my first quiz tomorrow!

Things have been busy and I don't have time to go into detail about the last two weeks now, but I thought that I'd better post a little bit.

Two weekends ago - I got an extra long weekend with no class on Monday. My Dad drove up from Arizona and we all stayed at my Grandparent's house. It was great, my Aunt and cousins were still in town so it was a party. :) It was a weekend of staying up to late, eating too much sugar, and some good family bonding time. New movie for the favorites list: Fantastic Mr. Fox, new store to go back and visit: The London Market in SLC. It's across from the South East corner of Trolley Square - you'll see it by their Union Jack flying, Mini Cooper and postbox out front. There's a little cafe next to it also, but we didn't have time to go in there. Brought back some great memories and I even got myself a Lilt. (My favorite soda of all time)

In classes, I am working on designing a health spa, and a couple of honors contracts. My Business law and ethics class is great, although I feel a little over my head sometimes as I haven't really studying anything like that before.

My PE classes are great, I love working out and dancing is the best. We're finishing off the Foxtrot this week and then next week we begin the Tango. Just for the record - Cha cha is my favorite. Although I have to say that overall the guys in my class are pretty good, last time I had a couple of creepers in the class, so I was pleasantly surprised this time :)

In other news, my roommates have watched the whole first season of Castle in two days. I watched several episodes with them hehe. It is pretty good. The main character 'Castle' is Nathan Fillion, who plays the Captain in the series Firefly (made the movie Serenity).

Well I'd better go get ready for class, but for the record I am stoked for Conference weekend! 1. Mission Reunion 2. Conference 3. Staying with my cousin in Payson = it's going to be an AWESOME weekend!

USU Week 1:

This week has gone by very fast which is to be expected.
Monday: My classes were great! Weight training we went through the syllabus and then our teacher (trainer?) let us leave. I got into the Isaiah Institute class! I am excited for that one! In Architectural Systems, the computer and projector refused to work so our Professor let us go early also. But it was fun to see everyone again :) Then
Tuesday: Ballroom dance is going to be a good class. It is the same teacher from the last time I took the class. And surprisingly enough, there is almost the same number of boys as girls. Nice.
I was able to get a free Scotsman hotdog in between classes. I had never tried one before that, they are delicious!
Then I went over to the business building for my Business law and ethics class. A girl who was in sophomore studio with me the first time was there! She just got back from her mission to Brasil! So exciting! All we did for the first class was go through the syllabus and our Professor memorized all of our names. It was pretty impressive!
After class I did another thing that I never had done before.... I took a nap on the Quad! It was such a nice day and the grass looked so inviting!
Then I went to my Interior Materials and Construction class. I am excited for that class too! Although they must have recently painted that room, it smelled terrible! I think I am going to do an Honors Contract in that class so I am working on that.
Later I went over to the Education building for my Photoshop class. That one is only once a week but I think it is going to be a good class. I am excited to refresh my photoshop skills.
That night we met with our bishopric and then went to watch Iron Man 2 on Old Main Hill. Nice.

Yesterday was a good day. Had all the classes again like Monday. In weight training we started working out which was awesome. The in Isaiah we went through chapter 1. It was fantastic. After Institute, I met up with my roommates and went to the Quad. I liked the way everything was set up this year. I joined the International Student Council and the Asian American Student Council AND the USU Country Swing Dancing Club! It was a good day :) Then that night we had Interior Design Seminar. I am stoked about joining ASID, IIDA and USGBC. YAY for Interior Design!!

Last night we went Country dancing at the Fun Park. It was super fun. They played a bunch of line dances that I knew already so I was happy about that ^_^ Such a great day!
